Who we are

Hamzah Malik operates Loop, a service that helps local shops (our “partner shops”) bring customers back by texting them offers. In this policy, “Loop,” “we,” and “us” mean Hamzah Malik.

This policy covers people who sign up for Loop and visitors to loopretention.com. Partner shops use Loop under a separate agreement.

Information we collect

From you when you sign up

• Your mobile phone number, and your name and email if you provide them.
• The partner shop where you signed up.
• A record of your consent: the date and time, how you opted in (QR code, link, or form), the exact wording shown to you, and technical details such as your IP address and device type.
• Your replies to our texts, including STOP and HELP, and which offers you redeem.

From partner shops

To make offers relevant, a partner shop gives us records of its own customers: names, phone numbers, visit dates, services, amounts, and vehicle details as written on invoices. We use these records to work out which offers suit which customers. Having your details in these records does not mean we will text you. We send marketing texts only to people who have opted in to Loop.

Basic technical information when you visit loopretention.com, such as your browser, device, and the pages you view, collected through cookies and similar tools.

How we use it

• To send the texts you signed up for: offers from the partner shop where you joined, your coupon, confirmations, and replies to HELP.
• To decide which offers to send you and when, using your visit history with that shop.
• To track which offers are redeemed and report results to the shop.
• To honor opt-outs, keep consent records, and prevent misuse of coupons.
• To run, secure, and improve Loop, and to meet our legal obligations.

We do not use your information to send texts for other businesses.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for targeted advertising. We do not share your mobile phone number or your text opt-in data and consent with any third party or affiliate for their marketing or promotional purposes.

We share information only in these ways:

• With the partner shop where you signed up. When you redeem a coupon, we tell the shop that the coupon was redeemed and when, so it can honor the offer. We do not give the shop your mobile number or your text opt-in data, and the shop does not receive a list from us to send its own marketing texts. Offers are sent only through Loop.
• With service providers that help us run Loop, such as text-message delivery providers, wireless carriers, and hosting and database providers. They may use your information only to provide services to us.
• When the law requires it, or to protect people's rights and safety or enforce our terms.
• In a business transfer, such as a merger or sale, with the same protections for your information.
• With your consent.

Text messages

• What we send. Marketing texts about offers from your partner shop, plus confirmations and replies to your requests.
• How often. Up to 4 promotional messages per month. Confirmations and replies you request, such as the welcome text, your coupon, and replies to STOP or HELP, are not counted in that limit. Message and data rates may apply.
• Quiet hours. We send only between 8 AM and 9 PM in your local time.
• Consent is optional. Agreeing to receive texts is not a condition of buying anything from the shop.
• Opting out. Reply STOP, QUIT, END, REVOKE, OPT OUT, CANCEL, or UNSUBSCRIBE to any message. We send one confirmation and then no more marketing texts. You can also email us at the address below. We stop promptly and in all cases within 10 business days.
• Help. Reply HELP to any message, or contact us below.
• If your number changes. Tell us, or opt out before you give up the number, so we do not text someone else.

How long we keep it

• Consent and opt-out records: at least four years after you opt out, so we can show that you agreed and that we honored your request. If you opt out, we keep your number on a do-not-text list so we never message you again.
• Other subscriber information: until you ask us to delete it, or 12 months after you unsubscribe, whichever comes first.
• Shop customer records: while the shop uses Loop. After that they are deleted or returned to the shop, as its agreement with us provides.

Your choices and rights

• Opt out of texts at any time by replying STOP.
• Ask for access, correction, or deletion of your information by emailing us. We may need to confirm who you are first, and we will respond within the time the law requires. We keep consent and opt-out records and your do-not-text entry even after a deletion request, because the law requires us to prove consent and to honor your opt-out.
• State privacy rights. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights to know what we hold, correct it, delete it, or opt out of its sale or use for targeted advertising. We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising.
• Questions about a shop's own records can also go to the shop.

Security, age, and cookies

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including limiting who can access information and keeping each shop's records separate. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Loop is for people 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.

Our website may use cookies and similar tools for basic operation and to understand how the site is used. You can control cookies in your browser settings.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. We will change the effective date at the top and, where the law requires, tell you about material changes.
